Ragi vermicelli Kichidi

Ingredients:

Ragi vermicelli – 100 gms
Chopped onion - 1
Green chilly – 2
Curry leaves – 1 stem
Mustard seeds – 1/2 tsp
Urad dal – 1 tsp
Channa dal – 1 tsp
Oil – 1 tsp
Lime slice – 1
Salt – as required

Method:


Soak ragi vermicelli in plain water for 2 minutes.Don’t soak more than 2 mins it will become soggy.Heat a kadai with a tsp of oil and add the mustard seeds.when it pops,add the urad dal,channa dal,finely chopped onion,slitted green chilly and curry leaves.Saute well.Then add the steamed vermicelli,salt and toss well.Remove from the flame and garnish with lime slice and serve hot !!!
