Upma

Ingredients :

Sooji / semolina - 1 cup
cumin seed - 1/2 tsp
Mustard seed - 1/2 tsp
Turmeric Powder - 1/2 tsp
Water - 1 cup
Peanuts - 1/4 cup
Carrot - 1/4 cup
Onion - 1
Tomato - 1
Urad dhal - 1 tbsp
Green chilly - 1
Salt to taste
Oil - 5 tbsp
Curry leaves - 1 string

Method :
Dry roast sooji in a kadai and keep aside.
Heat 2 tsp oil in a kadhai and fry mustard seeds,cumin seeds,turmeric,curry leaves and urad dhal then Add chopped onion,chopped tomato,chopped carrot,chopped green chilly and fry for few minutes.Then add salt and water. Now add roasted sooji and mix well without any lumps.Close with lid and let it cook for few minutes.Remove from fire and Garnish with peanuts and Serve hot.
