Aloo Thagari

Kids favourite dish...

Ingredients:

Aloo / Potatoes - 1 cup
butter - 3 tbsp
bay leaf - 1
cinnamon - 1
cloves - 2
Cardamom - 2
chopped onion - 1
Turmeric powder - 1 tsp
chilli powder - 1 tsp
coriander powder - 1 tsp
Garam masala - 1 tsp
Pudina / mint - 1 tbsp
Coriander leaves - 1 tbsp
Water - 2 cups
Cooked rice - 1 cup

Method:

Heat a pan and add butter,when it melts add bay leaf,cinnamon,cloves,Elachi,onio,Aloo cubes,turmeric powder,chilli powder,coriander powder,garam masala,finely chopped mint and coriander leaves.sprinkle enough salt and water.close the lid and cook for a while.when its cooked stir in boiled rice and mix well with the gravy and serve hot with any papad or Vathal
