Poori payasam

Payasam, hope everyone heard this word atleast once.In south indian families,no festival or occasion will be celebrated without this yummy kheer generally called as Payasam.Apart from having the same old semiya payasam, today iam going to teach you all a variety and tasty payasam...Try yourself at home and let me know the feedback...

Here is a tip for this recipe, generally we add sugar in the middle of other payasams but for this particular one we have to add the sugar as a last ingredient that also after switching off the stove, because we are adding many ingredients like sweet kova, oil, milk, ghee etc so if we add sugar while its on the flame it will curdle the milk...so add sugar in the last...now lets start the dish...
Ingredients:-
milk - 1/2 Litre
Maida - 1 cup
Sugar - 1 cup
Milk Kova - 1/2 cup
Cardamom powder - 1 tsp
Cashews - 15
Almonds - 10
Kismis - 1 tbsp
salt a pinch
Oil for deep fry
Method:-

Mix maida, milk and little oil.knead the dough with water and keep aside for 2 hours to ferment.meanwhile  boil milk in a bowl.now take poori dough and make little pooris and deep fry.then add this to boiling milk, add kova and stir well, then switch off the stove and add cardamom powder and sugar.meanwhile fry cashews, almonds and kismis and add to the payasam and slurp off the yummy yummy payasam..
