Pistachio Kheer


pistachios - 100gm
Water - 1.1/2 cup
Sweetened condensed milk - 3/4 cup
Milk - 3/4 cup
Cardamom powder - 2 pinch
Saffron - a pinch,

Boil water add pistachios and cook for 30seconds.
Pour the cooked kernels into a colander to drain and rinse under cold running water to stop the cooking.Pat dry and slip the skins off.Put them in a blender and blend to a slightly coarse paste by adding 2 tbsps of the milk.Combine condensed milk and remaining milk in a saucepan and bring to a boil over low heat ,stirring occasionally.Now reduce heat and add pista paste and saffron soaked in 2tsp warm milk.Mix well and remove from fire & Stir in the cardamom powder.Garnish with pistaServe warm or chilled...
