Ragi vermicelli payasam


Ragi vermicelli – 100gms
Milk - 2 cups
Sugar - 4 tsp
cashews - 1 tbsp
almond flakes - 1 tsp
Cardamom – 2 pods


Boil milk in a heavy bottom pan.
Soak ragi vermicelli in plain water for 2 minutes.Don’t soak more than 2 mins it will become soggy.Drain the water completely and add to boiling in the milk.then add sugar and elachi.when it is cooked.garnish with cashews & almond flakes and serve this yummy kheer.
