Rice Kheer

Basmati rice - 175gm
Milk - 3 1/2cup
Sugar - 125gm
cardamom powder - 1/4tsp
Rose syrup - 1 tbsp
Pistachios - 1 tsp

Wash the rice and soak in hot water for 30mints and drain.Bring the milk and sugar to a boil in a saucepan.Now add rice and mix well.Reduce heat and stir occasionally and cook uncovered until the rice is very tender.Stir in the cardamom powder and remove from fire.Let it cool & then add rose syrup.Mix well.Garnish with pistachios and Serve chilled...
