Khajoor Na Gujia

 sweet and crunchy gujarathi sweet gujiya

Milk - 1/4 cup
Ghee - 1/2 cup
Sugar - 1/2 cup
Maida - 1 cup 
Dessicated coconut - 1/4 cup
poppy seeds - 2 tsp (ground)
cardamoms powdered - 6
Dates - 200 gm
ghee for frying
salt to taste

Mix 1/2 cup ghee into the flour.Mix in a pinch of salt and milk and prepare dough.and knead the dough well.make small balls and keep covered to ferment.Prepare a grounded poppy seeds, dessicated coconut, ground dates,cardamom powder and sugar.

Roll out maida balls into small puris,Put the date stuffing in the middle and fold like a gujiya and seal the edges.
Heat ghee in a wok and deep fry in batches till golden brown.Drain in a kitchen towel And enjoy the taste.
