Ingredients:
Carrots - 4
Rice - 1 cup
Green chillies - 2
Curry leaves - few
Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp
Mustard seeds - 1/2 tsp
Urad dal - 1 tsp
Channa dal - 1 tsp
Salt to taste
Oil - 1 tbsp
Method:
Peel the skin of carrots and chop into thin cubes.Heat oil in a pan, add mustard seeds and when it splutters, add urad dal and channa dal. Add the curry leaves and green chillies.Fry for a while and then add the carrot pieces and leave it to cook for a while.then add turmeric powder and salt. Saute for a while and then add the cooked rice. Mix well & Serve with grated carrot.
