Aloo Paratha

Aloo paratha is a north indian dish which i tasted years back.Still the taste lingers in my mouth.This dish a favourite one in my house.If you pack this as lunch for your kids.Iam sure you will find the empty box while they return back from school.here i have given the measurement for 2 parathas,you can increase according to your family size.Happy eating...



Ingredients:

Wheat flour - 1 cup
Boiled potatoes / Aloo - 2
Oil - 5 Tbsp
Chopped Green Chilli - 1
Chopped Onion - 1
Chopped Tomato - 1
salt - 1 tsp
Garam masala - 1 Tsp
Turmeric Powder - 1/4 Tsp
Chilli powder - 1/2 Tsp
Coriander leaves - 1 Tbsp

Method:

mix wheat flour with enough water and salt.make a smooth dough and keep aside to ferment.Heat 3 tbsp of oil in a pan add g.chilli and saute then add onion and saute till it turns light brown colour then add tomato,salt,garam masala,turmeric powder and chilli powder saute well.then add mashed potatoes and saute well.then add coriander leaves and removes from stove.Roll out a chappathi and stuff aloo mixture in a rolled out chappathi and fold the edges completely and roll again carefully with rolling pin.now shallow fry on a tawa and enjoy the Tasty Aloo paratha with spiced Raitha.
