Peanut Chaat

Peanuts are always a tasty ones,especially the boiled ones.its our family's all time favourite one.I have some oregano in store which i generally used for making sandwiches and pizza.today i thought of using it in chaat.so adding some spicy touch to our taste buds here is the chaat.

Ingredients:

Raw peanuts – 1 cup
Onion – 1 (small)
Carrot – 1 (small)
Raw Mango – 1 (small)
Coriander leaves – 2 tsp
Green chilli – 1
Red Chilli powder – 1/2 tsp
Coconut slice - 1
Oregano – 1 tsp
Spring onion – 1 sprig
Lemon juice – 1 tbsp
Salt – to taste
Oil - 1 tsp
Mustard - 1/2 tsp


Method:


Unshell the peanuts and Pressure cook with enough salt for 1 whistle. The peanuts should be cooked well and not over cook as it will become mushy.

Finely chop the onion,spring onion,coriander leaves and green chilli. Grate the carrots,coconut and raw mango.

In another bowl combine boiled peanuts, onion, carrots and coriander leaves together.Temper mustard in oil and add to the peanut mixture.Sprinkle the red chilli powder, oregano powder and salt all over the peanut mixture and toss well to mix up.Now squeeze lemon juice and toss well and Serve.
