Sweet Potato Gulab jamun

                                                  Wishing you all happy raksha bandhan...
hope you all having a great day celebrating with your siblings...On this beautiful day i would like to treat you all with a special sweet.what can be made with sweet potato??? Generally we make sabzi,fries,like that only with these sweet potato or we will end up eating the plain boiled ones right???but today iam going to treat your tastebuds with delightful dessert...that is Gulab jamoon...Mouth watering hai kya?????Happy eating......


Ingredients:

Sweet potatoes - 1/2kg
Maida - 3 tbsp
Milk - 3 /5 tbsp

Sugar - 1/2 cup
Saffron - few strands
Oil for deep fry

Method:

Boil water with sugar to make a syrup.add saffron strands when it reaches sticky consistency.keep aside and heat oil in a wok.Boil and peel off the skin of sweet potatoes and mash well.add maida and milk and mix well into a fine dough.roll  into small jamoon balls.now deep fry these jamoons in oil till brown colour.then transfer it into sugar syrup and refridgerate.dish out in a serving bowl and serve cool to your loved ones on this special day....your sweet brothers will shower gifts on you...
