Rava Ladoo

All set for Diwali...yeah diwali is just a couple of days away,but no one seems to bother much as everything is readily available in stores.but we prefer homemade sweets and savouries.Festivals meant to enjoy with family and friends na???so here iam posting one of the sweetest and traditional sweet Rava Laddu...


Rava/Sooji - 1 cup

Boiled Milk - 1/2 cup

Powdered sugar - 1/2 cup

Ghee - 5 Tbsp

Raisins - 1 tsp

Cashews - 20 nos

Cardamom powder - 1 tsp

Heat ghee in a pan and roast the raisins and cashews until they turn golden brown and keep aside.roast rava in the same pan until the raw smell vanishes. Add powdered sugar,cashews,raisins and cardamom powder and mix well; Adjust sweetness according to taste.Add boiled milk little by little and mould into small laddus with your hands,applying ghee to your palms.Cool laddus completely and store in air tight container and relish...
