Tomato halwa

In my school days whenever i visit my friend chitra house she used to serve me with Tomato juice and tomato halwa.Today when i remembered the halwa it bring back the memories of the past.

Ripe Tomatoes - 4
Cashew nuts - 15
Ghee - 2 tbsps
Sugar - 1 cup
Cardamom powder - 1 pinch

Method :-
Take a muffin tray and grease with ghee, line the base with a few cashew nuts and keep them ready.Wash and chop the tomatoes.Heat ghee in a pan and stir in the tomatoes.cook on low flame till the tomatoes become soft then allow it to cool and grind the tomatoes and the cashew nuts together into a smooth paste without adding water.grind into fine paste.add the paste back on the pan then add equal quantity of sugar and cook till the Halwa thickens and becomes like jelly.add cardamom powder and ghee, then cook for a few more minutes and remove before it crystalizes.Pour the halwa into the greased cup or plate. When the halwa is set taste the flavour and enjoy...
