Raksha bandhan Special - Poori Ladoo

Happy Raksha Bandhan to my brothers :)

Raksha Bandhan is a day to celebrate the sacred bond of affection between siblings with lots of happiness.

This festival is celebrated mostly by north Indians. All brothers and sisters express their love and affection on this special by tying Rakhi and giving gifts.I celebrate this festival every year with my brother since my childhood.

Wheat flour - 1 cup
Powdered Sugar - 1 cup
ghee - 3 tbsp fry
Salt - a pinch
oil for frying
cashew - 2 tbsp
cardamom powder - 1 tsp

Take wheat flour in a bowl and add a pinch of salt and little ghee to it. Pour in just enough water to make a thick poori dough.

Now roll out thin pooris and deep fry it till crisp on both sides. Once you are done with all the pooris.

Grind the broken pooris in the mixie to course powder then add sugar, ghee, cardamom powder and cashews and make small ladoos.

Poori ladoo is ready to eat :)
